木紋中的角色與書頁 Figures and Pages in Wood Grain

木材的紋理、板片與可翻閱的結構，使早期角色不只被畫出，也開始具有重量、關係和可以被打開的內部空間。 Wood grain, panels, and book-like structures allow early figures not only to be drawn, but to gain weight, relation, and an inner space that can be opened.

國王與皇后 King and Queen

國王與皇后
兩片可交換的杉木板，讓國王與皇后時而相愛對望，時而背對背鬥嘴。 Two interchangeable cedar boards let the king and queen sometimes face each other in love, and sometimes turn back to back in quarrel.

三姊妹 Three Sisters

三姊妹
三個細長的身影從木紋裡並肩浮現，像各自帶著表情與祕密的姊妹。 Three slender figures emerge side by side from wood grain, like sisters each carrying expressions and secrets.

入形之時 Entering Form

入形之時
讓角色像是從木紋深處被召喚出來，身體仍在圓形場域中旋轉、成形。 The figure seems summoned from the depths of wood grain, its body still turning and forming within a circular field.

現身者 Appearing One

現身者
則像完成顯形的早期木雕角色，帶著戲劇性的表情與姿態，預告後來作品中生命形象的出場。 It appears as an early wood-carved figure fully manifested, carrying dramatic expression and posture that anticipate later life images.

蟹之旋 Spiral of the Crab

蟹之旋
讓蟹的身體在圓形木紋中展開，鉗、足與葉片般的形體像是在旋轉中生成。 The crab's body opens within circular wood grain, its claws, legs, and leaf-like forms seeming to arise through rotation.

守望者 Guardian

守望者主視角 守望者側面視角
以樟木雕出一個安靜凝視的鳥形生命，圓睜的雙眼像在替森林與內在世界守夜。 Carved from camphor wood, this quiet bird-like life gazes outward, its round eyes keeping watch over forest and inner world.

封面與內頁層層展開，眼睛、臉孔與木色頁面像一本正在自我觀看的書。 Cover and inner pages unfold layer by layer; eyes, faces, and wood-toned pages become a book watching itself.

木之始讓木材的重量、紋理與人物寓言成為早期創作的一條支線，也讓「觀看自己」第一次具有書頁與物件的形式。 Wood Origin makes the weight, texture, and figure-fables of wood an early branch of the practice, giving self-viewing the form of pages and objects for the first time.

這裡的木板像一種安靜的前史，將後來的浮雕、容器與人格結構提前埋入材料之中。 The wood panels here are a quiet prehistory, burying later reliefs, vessels, and persona structures within the material in advance.
